| An internal investigation was made by EngineWorks into radial rotary vane blade engines. With the designation EW-RVCE (Rotary Vane Combustion Engine), the investigation took up a lot of design work. Even though the thermodynamic calculations turned out positive, showing higher fuel efficiency than by conventional engine types, there was a concern about sealing and long-term maintenance. The research program lasted 2 years and no hardware was produced. | |
